What is the CFCSC?

The Chiba Foreign Careworkers Support Center (CFCSC) serves foreign careworkers and foreign students aiming to become careworkers, who are residents in Chiba Prefecture. The CFCSC provides counseling, emotional support, and assistance to those experiencing difficulties in their lives or work, conducts presentation at facilities and places of business, and employers in recruiting and retraining foreign careworkers. The CFCSC serves as contractor to the Chiba Prefectural Government.

Counseling for Foreign-resident support Center

To properly address concerns and problems, we have placed foreign support coordinators (consultants) who can assist in English, Vietnamese, and Nepali. Consultations are available from Monday to Saturday through phone, email, face-to-face meetings, and home visits.
In addition, the consultation hours for each language counselor are as follows.
○ English  :Tuesday Thursday  Saturday 10:00~18:00
○ Vietnamese:Monday  Wednesday Friday  10:00~16:00
        Tuesday Thursday       10:00~18:00
○ Nepali   :Wednesday           10:00~18:00
* Please note that the foreign support coordinator may not be present on the above dates.

In addition to the above, consultations can be provided via telephone interpretation for the following languages:
* Even in that case, please let us know in Japanese that you would like an interpreter, as well as your name, contact phone number, preferred language, etc.
